Originals Access OKTA MFA Setup (QR CODE)

Purpose: Setup MFA for your Originals Access Okta account

Prerequisites: Obtain an Okta account or if you need a new QR code due to getting a new phone or a lost device.
Please note that if you need a new QR code, please create a support ticket by e-mailing support@amazonstudios.com to reset Okta MFA prior to taking the steps below.

Audience: Okta/Originals Access User

 

In order to access Okta, it is required by Amazon Studios that users have a secondary method of confirming their identity - this is known as 'Multi-factor Authentication'. 

  1. Navigate to login.originalsaccess.com 
  2. Enter your username, then click the 'Next' button.
  3. Enter in the temporary password that was provided or your password if this has already been setup.
  4. When prompted to ‘Set up multifactor authentication’, click the ‘Setup’ button
  5. On the ‘Setup Okta Verify’ screen. This will display the QR code you need to scan in the OKTA Verify app.


  6. On your mobile device, download the Okta Verify application
    > IOS  - iOS Okta Verify on the App Store
    > ANDROID -  Android Okta Verify on Google Play Store
  7. Once complete, tap the ‘Add an account’ button on the bottom of the screen or the ‘+’ button on the top right corner of the screen, then select ‘Organization’


  8. Select the Skip button

  9. Select Ready to scan

  10. Point your phone camera at the QR code on your computer screen


  11. If prompted, allow push notifications on your device so that you can approve future sign-in notifications without opening the OKTA Verify app.

  12. If prompted, enable Face ID or Touch ID. Tap Enable.

  13. Tap Done to complete the account enrollment.

  14. Your new account is now available in the OKTA Verify app.
