Purpose: Instructions on how to download, install and login to Aspera on Cloud Desktop app. Prerequisite: Aspera on Cloud user account required. Audience: Aspera on Cloud users. |
First you will need to Download and Install the correct version of Aspera on Cloud Desktop.
Go to the Aspera for Desktop download page and choose the correct app version for your device.
Once downloaded go through the installation process. Search for the app and open it.
Once open, click on 'Accounts' then 'Link account'.
Click on 'IBM Aspera on Cloud' button and enter 'amazon-studios' as the Organization subdomain, then 'Link'.
Now that it is linked, you can find 'My IBM Aspera account' in the 'Accounts' tab, click it.
Now click 'Log in to IBM Aspera on Cloud', this will open your browser.
In your browser it will ask how you want to login, choose 'Login with Okta Originals Access' and login.
You will now be prompted with a check box to 'Always allow Aspera on Cloud links to open with the app' or leave it unchecked, then click 'Open IBM Aspera'.
You will now be able to access your account and workspaces from the Desktop app.
