Getting Started
Below are resources to follow for getting started with DocuSign.
-
Sending an envelope
End-to-end E-Signature process for 1 or more documents, from 1 or more signers. -
Add fields
After adding documents, recipients, and instructions to the envelope, you configure signing fields for each recipient, such as signature, initials, or other required information they need to provide electronically. -
Set signing order
For envelopes with multiple recipients, you can set a signing order to control the sequence in which they receive and sign the documents. -
Create a template
Creating a DocuSign template is similar to an envelope, but allows for placeholder recipient roles. This enables reuse when sending to different people. Templates can be created from scratch, copied from existing templates, or saved from any envelope. Templates can have varying levels of pre-configured information. -
Add recipients
Once you select the documents to send, you can add up to 99 recipients who will receive and sign your documents or receive a copy. You provide an email address and name for each recipient. Recipients don't need a Docusign account to open your document and complete their signing action. -
Correct an envelope
The sender can fix any mistakes in an envelope that hasn't been completed yet. This includes correcting the recipient information, envelope details, and the document content. - Correct an envelope- FAQ

Change signing responsibility
If you're not the right person to sign a document, you can assign someone else. For example, you transfer to a different position and no longer have signing responsibility for certain types of documents. The new signer can be anyone, provided that you know their email address. The sender is notified whenever you change signing responsibility. -
Transfer envelopes and templates
As an account administrator, you can manually transfer envelopes or templates between users. When you transfer ownership of envelopes or templates, the transferred items are removed from the original owner's account and moved to the new owner's account. -
Resending Envelopes
To resend DocuSign envelopes, the main reasons are: recipient never received or acted on the initial envelope, envelope expired, mistakes were made, or content needs updating. Resending allows you to quickly redistribute the envelope without starting over.
-
Manage Users
If you are a DocuSign administrator, the Users page lets you manage account users. You can add users according to your plan, view active users, and reactivate closed users. Each email can only belong to one active or pending user. -
Accessing DS Admin
To access DS Admin in DocuSign, log in to your account and click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select "Go to Admin". This will take you to the Admin Dashboard, where you can manage users, settings, and organisational configurations.
