Chat GPM is an AI-powered assistant that lets you ask questions about the Global Production Manual in plain language and get instant, sourced answers no more scrolling through hundreds of pages to find what you need.
Just type a question the way you'd ask a colleague, and Chat GPM searches the manual and gives you an answer with its source.

Asking Questions
Type your question into the chat box and press Enter. Chat GPM works best when you ask the way you naturally would, for example:
- "What's the process for submitting a location release?"
- "Who approves overtime for background actors?"
- "What are the insurance requirements for stunts?"
Each answer comes with its source from the manual, so you can check the original section if you need more detail.
A few things to know:
- Chat GPM only answers from the Global Production Manual it doesn't search the internet.
- Answers usually take a few seconds; more complex questions can take a little longer.
- If the manual was recently updated, brand-new content may take up to a day to appear in answers.
Quick Troubleshooting
Most issues clear up with a quick refresh. Try these first:
The chat won't load, or shows "unable to connect" / "we can't open this chat agent" This usually means you have Chat GPM open in more than one place in the same browser. Try opening it in a private/incognito window, or clear your browser cookies for quicksight.aws.amazon.com, then open it again. As a rule, use just one method (portal or QuickSuite) per browser.
"Account not found" when entering the account name Double check the spelling it should be exactly amazon-studios-production-manual. It's case-sensitive.
You just got access but it's not working yet New access can take up to 5 minutes to apply. Wait a few minutes, fully close your browser tabs, then sign in again.
