Purpose: Instructions to automate package downloads to a local directory. Prerequisite: Aspera user account, and Aspera connect desktop application. Audience: Aspera Faspex users. |
1. Automate package downloads using Aspera Connect.
1. Open Users Aspera connect and go to Preferences
2. Select the + button and select Aspera Faspex
3. Enter Name and server address then select Next and then sign in to Aspera
4. Select directory for downloads
5. Click on Finish
6. Go back into preferences and tick "Do not verify host's SSL certificate"
7. Packages will now download to local folder
