Purpose: To assist workspace managers in understanding the various permissions associated with their access. Prerequisite: Aspera on Cloud account with workspace manager permissions for the required workspace. Audience: Aspera on Cloud workspace managers. |
1. Workspace manager permissions:
Users assigned to the Workspace Manager role, have permission to do the following for their managed workspace only:
- Edit the workspace profile, including: branding, description, and naming.
- Create and manage workspace groups.
- View workspace activity.
- In the Packages App: create, manage, and delete shared inboxes (including metadata and shared inbox members).
- In the Files App: share folders from storage to one or more workspace members (requires node secret).
- If specifically granted by the org admin:
- Manage settings for the Files and Packages apps in that workspace.
- Configure email notification templates and delivery options.
